Tree Protection Permit

Description: The Village adopted a tree protection ordinance in 2021 to help protect the tree canopy by limiting the number of trees that can be removed. If more trees are removed than otherwise allowed, then new trees must be planted on site or offsite. The ordinance does not apply to industrially-zoned properties and all parcels less than 0.25 acres (10,890 square feet).
